THE Pirates last faced Exeter Chiefs at the
County Ground back in January of this year when they went down 27-21 to their
Devon rivals.
Having won the earlier fixture at the Mennaye 15-9,
Ian Bremner's side gained their revenge courtesy of tries from No.8 Richard Baxter,
centre Stephen Ward and Kiwi flanker Tony Walker. Tony Yapp - currently on loan
at Launceston - booted the remainder of the Chiefs points.
In reply,
Wes Davies, Vili Ma'asi and Iva Motusaga all plundered scores for the Cornish
club, all of which were converted by fly-half Tom Barlow.
