CORNISH Pirates coach Jim McKay has named a
formidable looking squad for Sunday's Henley International Sevens at Dry Leas.
McKay has named a ten-man squad, which includes summer signings Duncan
Roke and Shaun James, plus the first return of all-action forward Matt Evans,
who has not played since sustaining a horrific injury in last season's National
One game against Nottingham.
Also included are Joe Bearman, Oscar
Osir, Benjamin Ayimba, Wes Davies and Rhodri McAtee, all of whom featured for
the Pirates in the Tusker Safari Sevens in Kenya last month.
The
squad is completed by Welsh powerhouse Kevin James and Cornish speedster Matt
Jess, who missed the Kenya event because of commitments with the England Counties
squad.
Other entrants for the event, which runs from 10am to 7pm,
include Northampton Saints, Newbury, Henley Hawks, Millfield Old Boys, Loughborough
University , Hartbury College , the Maruaders and reigning Middlesex Sevens champions,
the British Army.
