| The
Cornish Pirates took a leading role in a unique Community Awareness Day
that took place at the Recreation Ground, Treneere Estate, Penzance, on Friday. In
the latest step to drive and improve social conditions in an area recognised as
Cornwalls most deprived neighbourhood, residents were given the chance to
work with official agencies by getting involved and learning more about the Treneere
Together Partnership that was created last April. Respected prop forward
Alan Paver from the Cornish Pirates opened the event, and although there was a
serious side to the occasion, it was also one which provided fun enjoyment for
those of all ages who attended. | | Alan
