Inglis Boards The Pirates Ship 14/10/06 The Cornish
Pirates have bolstered their squad with the addition of towering second-row forward
James Inglis from Guinness Premiership side NEC Harlequins. It has
been no secret that the Pirates have been on the look out for a couple of extra
forwards to provide adequate cover in the squad, this weekend it was confirmed
that the services of Inglis had been secured  |  |  | The
20-year-old becomes the second player to arrive from The Stoop this season, following
centre Henry Barratt who also moved to the Duchy in the summer.
Inglis,
who stands at 6'5 and weighs in at 17 stone 7lbs, was educated at Whitgift School,
whom he captained before joining the Harlequins Academy in 2004. He played
for England Under-19s, helping them to win their first-ever Six Nations Grand
Slam in 2004/05. He also made five appearances in the IRB's 2005 Under-19
World Cup competition, the same year he made his debut for Quins first team. | | James
