The Cornish Pirates have bolstered their squad with the addition of towering second-row forward James Inglis from Guinness Premiership side NEC Harlequins.

The 20-year-old becomes the second player to arrive from The Stoop this season, following centre Henry Barratt who also moved to the Duchy in the summer.

Inglis, who stands at 6'5 and weighs in at 17 stone 7lbs, was educated at Whitgift School, whom he captained before joining the Harlequins Academy in 2004.

He played for England Under-19s, helping them to win their first-ever Six Nations Grand Slam in 2004/05.

He also made five appearances in the IRB's 2005 Under-19 World Cup competition, the same year he made his debut for Quins first team.
