| Healthy eating Awards To Cornish Schools |
A special awards ceremony was recently held at County Hall for all schools that had achieved 'healthy status'.
Unfortunately, however, some of the plaques did not arrive, including those due St. Ives Infants School. One young pupil, Josh, was particularly upset that his school didn't get their plaque, and when asked what could be done to make their award special when it arrived, he replied "can the Cornish Pirates present it?" >>>> |

| Pirates In Our Schools Season 2005/06 Summary |
In recent years the Pirates have done much good work in the schools, with this continuing and developing still further in the 2005-06 season.
In liaison with the Penwith Sports Partnership we delivered Tag rugby throughout the Autumn term to schools including St.Buryan, St. Just, St.Levan, Sennen and Pendeen, this forming part of a programme to help develop skills and also provide expert advice for teachers. It has been an experience which all involved have enjoyed. >>>> |
