| Coventry v Cornish
Pirates
Chris Cracknell, in impressive form
at the start of this season, moves into the middle of the back-row with Eniola
Gisende, a second half replacement against Northampton Saints, taking the blind-side
berth. 'Up front', Dan Seal is recalled at tight-head prop, with Sam Heard dropping
to the bench. In the outsides there is just the one change, New Zealander Nick Buckley making a first league start for the Cornish Pirates at inside centre in place of Simon Whatling. This will be the first time that the Cornish Pirates have had to cross the Tamar this season, the captaincy going to fly-half Gareth Steenson who has been an outstanding performer since his arrival in Cornwall. Head Coach Jim McKay commented: "Having lost their two league openers Coventry will be raring to go, its important for us not to allow them to play, because if they get a bit of momentum behind them they can be a very tough side."
