Cornish Pirates

A young Newquay Hornets player, 15-years-old James Barker, was celebrating twice this weekend.

Not only did his favourite team the Cornish Pirates romp home to victory against Pertemps Bees at the Recreation Ground, Camborne, but he was also the winner of the signed match ball prize sponsored by Cornwall College.

James was over the moon when his name was announced at the end of the game, saying "I'm really happy, it's a great prize - and to meet Tim Cowley the team captain was brilliant!"
