Cornish Pirates are teaming up with local sports and fashion retailer Whirlwind Sports as their Official Retail Partner, and it looks like it has been a great success already.

Replica shirt sales, and other merchandise have already sold out of the initial allocation at the three outlets in Penzance, Camborne and Helston.

Manufacturers Samurai have rushed the next order through to keep up with demand, and Cornish Pirates star Ed Fairhurst is pictured at the Penzance store as the new order came in.

Paul Billing, owner of Whirlwind Sports said:

"I am delighted to be involved with the Cornish Pirates. I have supported the club for a many years both in person and through Whirlwind. I think that our stores and retail experience will be a big help for the club"

All Cornish Pirates merchandise will be stocked in each of the three Whirlwind stores in Penzance, Helston and Camborne, as well as a new range of products available on match days.
