Year '11' GCSE Catering students at Camborne Science & Community College have this week prepared a delicious 3-course meal for the Cornish Pirates players.
As part of their course work the students study nutrition and dietary requirements, so what better way to be tested than to prepare a fully balanced meal for a group of professional athletes.
Alan Paver, Nathan Kemp, Ali Koko, Iva Motusaga, Tim Cowley, Dan Seal and Rob Elloway, in addition to team manager Adrian Edwards and fitness coach Simon Raynes, attended the event at the 'Lifestyle Restaurant', and stayed behind to answer questions for the chefs in training
Eleanor Hague thanked the Cornish Pirates for attending on the day, commenting:
"The Cornish Pirates are successful sportsmen for whom nutrition is important, and their presence really motivated the students who are also keen supporters of the team.
