Scott Helps England To Victory Scott Hobson, the young Cornish Pirates lock forward who clearly has a bright future in the game, played a leading role to help England U20s get off to a winning start in this season's Under 20s Six Nations campaign. Taking on Wales in their opener played at Kingsholm, Gloucester, on Friday evening, England won 28-15 in front of a crowd of over 4,500. Scott played the full eighty minutes, and showed the experience he has gained from playing regularly of recent in the Cornish Pirates starting line-up.. Watching Scott at Kingsholm was Cornish Pirates caretaker coach Mark Hewitt, who commented: "Scott played very well, and I am pleased for him - he really looked the part." England's next match is away to Italy on Saturday, the match to be played at Stadio Sciorba, Genova. |
