Once
described as "a little Tongan who has pace to spare and scores tries for
fun", Aisea was first capped for Tonga against Fiji in 2000. Arriving
on our shores, Aisea first played for Bridgend and then for Celtic Warriors at
the advent of regional rugby in Wales. When Celtic Warriors disbanded he joined
Llanelli Scarlets in 2004-05 ending his season there as their top try-scorer. 'Ice',
as he is referred to, was then snapped up by Worcester, scoring 10 tries in his
first season based at Sixways. Having played for Tonga in
the 2007 Rugby World Cup, and having been with the Warriors for three seasons,
Aisea is looking forward to his arrival in Cornwall. It is a fresh challenge,
and one which should excite him and the supporters who will be eager to witness
his clinical finishing ability. |
