which was suitably labelled 'A Celebration of Sport & Dance It
was an event where the school showcased the best sports people from the school
and the Penwith area, recognising individual and team achievements across a number
of categories |

part of their Rugby 'Academy' training week, year 7 - 9 pupils from Redruth School
recently visited the Cornish Pirates training base at the Mennaye Field, Penzance.
Former Cornish Pirates Team manager, Adrian Edwards, who is nowadays a Sports
Development Officer with Redruth RFC, attended the session along with Redruth
School staff members Craig Bonds (Head of PE) and Jamie Wilcocks (PE teacher) |

| There
may have been mist and rain, the elements failed to dampen Troon Primary School's
mid-summer festival and tea treat. Cornish Pirates representatives 'Captain
Benbow', Joe Beardshaw and Phil Westren joined a variety of community organisations
in procession through the village before returning to the school. |
