Adryan Opens 'Cornish Evening'

Cornish Pirates player Adryan Winnan was the star guest, opening Blackwater County Primary School's 'Cornish Evening' held on Friday.

The event followed a 'Cornish Theme Week' at the school highlighting Cornish tales, music, language, art and cookery & in keeping with the theme, guests at the event were provided with hevva cake and pasties!

Adryan and the Pirates squad have been extremely busy preparing for the new season, so his attendance was particularly appreciated by Headteacher Lesley Harris..

It was also a surprise opportunity for the two to meet for the first time in 21 years since Lesley taught Adryan at Penryn Nursery Unit when he was three
