Friday Night Project
Mikey & Paves Attend The Friday Night Project

Pirates players Mike Burak and Alan Paver have recently attended the Cornish Pirates Learning Zone's 'Friday Night Project', which is yet another innovative idea introduced to expand availability of facilities for the benefit of local children
The project runs from 5-7pm each Friday involving 20 children who applied for a space.
Under the direction of manager Kevin Jackson and assistant Ross Jones, children are given the opportunity to improve their standards in ICT at the Learning Zone, whilst various sports are also taught and played at the Humphry Davy School sports hall, where Cornish Pirates community coach Mike Crump is in charge.

The project is funded through 'Active Penwith' by 'HALP' (Healthy Active Lifestyles Programme), and it is aimed at children who would not normally get the opportunity to participate in such activities, where they can learn news skills and interact with other children.
