New Hayle player-coach Cullam Osborne, who has played for the Pirates in the past, has welcomed the coaching support recently given the 'Lions' by Cornish Pirates prop forward Alan Paver.

Alan has promised to help out at a number of coaching sessions, as has Cornish Pirates community coach Mike Crump who has signed for Hayle this season.

In expressing thanks for the support given, Cullam commented: "I would like to say how grateful we are to the Cornish Pirates, in being supportive for Alan and Mike to come down and help us out."
