Summer Masterclasses

Cornish Pirates first Masterclass of the summer was a roaring success, with over fifty 6-12 year old rugby lovers having fun and improving their rugby over 3 days.

Led by Cornish Pirates Community Coaches, the Masterclass worked on all aspects of rugby with an aim to turn the youngsters into future Cornish Pirates stars.

As well as the coaching, the Masterclass attendees were given extra rugby tuition by Cornish Pirates stars Heino Senekal and Joe Beardshaw..

Player of the Week was Dylan Williams, who is a member of Penzance and Newlyn Under 12s.

Cornish Pirates are running more Masterclasses this summer, at

• Bodmin RFC Tuesday 19th - Thursday 21st August

• Truro RFC Tuesday 26th - Thursday 28th August

Masterclasses will take place right across Cornwall during school holidays periods throughout the Rugby Season
