The
Cornish Pirates might be travelling to fifth-placed Doncaster as underdogs on
Saturday, but they'll be collectively on a mission, looking for a positive performance
and hopefully one that will provide a change in fortune. Last
week's defeat at home to an improving Rotherham Titans side was a huge disappointment,
and especially for centre and man of the match Tom Luke who certainly gave his
all for the cause. For Tom it'll be his first time back to Castle Park, having
featured there regularly for the Knights last season. Marika
Vakacegu has a slight rib injury and will miss the trip up north, his place at
full-back taken by Adryan Winnan who impressed many when making a return to action
as a replacement last weekend. The other two changes in the backs sees Rhodri
McAtee selected on the wing in place of Aisea Havili, and Rhys Jones at fly-half
in place of Doug Sanft. In the forwards just the one change
in personnel sees Sam Heard recalled to the side at tight-head prop, him replacing
Dan Seal. Cornish Pirates: A. Winnan,
B. Tuohy, P. Devlin, T. Luke, R. McAtee
R. Jones, E. Fairhurst, B. Bedes,
I. Motusaga, C. Morgan
B. Gulliver (capt), H. Senekal, S. Heard, R. Elloway,
A. Paver. Replacements:
D. Dawidiuk, S. Franklin, P.
Cook, M. Burak, N. Griffiths, S. Winn, J. Moore. The match
at Castle Park, Doncaster, on Saturday kicks off at 2.30p.m.
