Pirates For Newbury

The Cornish Pirates will trek to Newbury on Saturday for the second time this season, it following the frustratingly disappointing postponement of the original fixture which was to have taken place last December.

For this rescheduled game, Brett Davey has made a number of changes from the team that ultimately won well at Moseley last weekend.

Marika Vakacegu, who slotted in on the wing against 'Mose', returns to full-back in place of Adryan Winnan, thus giving Aisea Havili a chance to impress out wide and to add to the five league tries he has scored this season. The one other change in the backs sees a fully fit again Rhys Jones recalled at fly-half, with Simon Whatling dropping to the bench.

In the forwards, flanker Chris Morgan returns in place of Iva Motusaga to start against his former club, and lock Mike Burak takes over from Barbarian-to-be Heino Senekal in the second-row.
