The two youngest members of the Pirates squad Richard Bright and Paul Andrew - both England Academy players - have been loaned to Mounts Bay RFC.
Richard is just 18 years of age, him a full-back/wing of considerable promise who has played for South West U18s and Devon U20s.
As for Paul, he will be a familiar face to Mounts Bay's supporters, the 19 years old prop having played for 'Bay' in last season's National Three (South) Championship winning side, besides also later representing Cornwall in the 2008 County Championship Shield competition.
Rod Coward, Cornish Pirates CEO, commented:
"Both youngsters have great potential and it is felt that to allow them to play competitive rugby at a high level will be beneficial for their careers. As England Academy players they will be dual-registered and could return to Cornish Pirates whenever required and more than likely will be expected to do so for CRFU Super Cup games."
