Media Day At Truro College

Members of the media were invited to Truro College on Tuesday for the Cornish Pirates 'Media Day', which once again proved worthy and beneficial.

There was an opportunity in the morning to film and watch the Cornish Pirates train on the rugby pitch, followed by a photographic session for press, programme and website photographers, taking both profile and team photos.

Besides the standard team photos, a number of club sponsors also accepted the opportunity to have a representative present to be photographed exclusively with the players and coaches, an opportunity similarly taken up by two lucky 'Director for a Day' season ticket holder winners Derek Penhaligon and Derek Crofts.

All present were provided with light refreshments, with the College facilities again proving useful when press and radio reporters were able to interview chosen coaches and players.
