The Players Night
1st August 2008 Season
Ticket Holders and Sponsors from throughout the Duchy gathered for a 'Meet the
Players' night at the Mennaye Field last Friday evening. |
Those
present certainly had their appetite for the new season whetted, delighted by
the opportunity to watch players and coaches involved in a structured training
session, at the end of which new squad members were officially welcomed. |
The
Season Ticket Holders and Sponsors present were also the first to hear that Cornishman
Adryan Winnan had been appointed as Club Captain for the coming season, which
proved a popular choice |
 
Following
the session, everyone met and mixed informally in the clubhouse, where they also
had the chance to purchase the club's new replica kit from Whirlwind Sports. |
