Cornish Pirates' flanker Iva Motusaga attended Mounts Bay School's recent
Awards Evening, which was suitably labelled 'A Celebration of Sport & Dance
It
was an event where the school showcased the best sports people from the school
and the Penwith area, recognising individual and team achievements across a number
of categories.
Besides Samoan international Iva, other guests who presented
awards included British diving champion Brooke Graddon, and former Pirates winger
Matt Jess - a Heamoor boy.
There was a second Cornish Pirates representative
present in the shape of Phil Westren, who hosted a 'Question of Sport' slot during
the evening.
Superb dancing entertainment was provided by 'Flava' and their
sister group 'Sweet Flava' from the Fiona Richardson School of Dance.
