Netballing Pirates To Support Multiple Sclerosis Trust
Cornish Pirates v Penryn Netball Club
Wednesday April 1st 2009
Penryn College 7:45pm
The Cornish Pirates will experience a complete change of routine on the 1st of April, when they take on Penryn Netball Club in a netball match organised as a fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre.
Brett Davey, Coach at the Cornish Pirates, was keen for his squad to respond to the invitation made by Penryn Netball Club's Sarah Conniffe-Jones, who will be running in this year's London Marathon for the MSRC.
The MSRC is a proactive and innovative charity, passionately supporting anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis through access to unbiased information and advice.
Its approach is to encourage individuals to make choices that are appropriate to their daily lives, empowering them to maximise potential.
Cornwall, with an estimated 1,000 sufferers of the condition, has the second highest incidence of MS in the UK.
