Kit Launch 17th June 2008 WE
are delighted to announce that we will be launching the new Home and Change shirts
for seasons 2008/09 and 2009/10 exclusively at a 'Season Ticket Holders Event'
at 7.30pm on Thursday 3rd July at Camborne Clubhouse. The
new shirt will be made from Samurai's cutting edge 'SublimaX' material, and will
feature brand new designs. Although the new designs are a closely guarded secret,
the Pirates can reveal the home shirt will be made up of Red, Black and White,
and will feature the new main sponsors Hemingways across the front. The
change shirt will be made up of black and gold colours. In addition to Hemingways,
both shirts will include the logos of all the Cornish Pirates major sponsors,
including Rowe's the Bakers, Energy Access, Worldwide Financial Planning, Minster
Insulation, Whirlwind Sports and Samurai. Chief Executive
Rod Coward said: "We have been working with Samurai regarding the design
of the new shirt, and myself and the team are delighted with the results. I am
certain that the shirts will be a big winner with our supporters." Simon
Hodgkinson, a former England full-back and nowadays National Sales Manager for
Samurai, commented: "The Cornish Pirates are our premier club brand,
and we are delighted to be able to provide the players with advanced kit that
matches the clubs Premiership ambitions." Besides
showcasing the new kit for the first time at the Season Ticket Holders Event to
be held on the 3rd July, those present on the night will have the chance to:- Participate
in a Question and Answer Session with CEO Rod Coward, and coaches Mark Hewitt,
Brett Davey and Simon Raynes Meet some of the Pirates players,
including new signings Pre order the new Cornish Pirates shirt,
so Season Ticket Holders will be amongst the first to get one (arrival date Mid
July)
