The Duchy's biggest rugby club and Pirate FM joined forces at the final game of the season to raise money for the Pirate Trust, which offers grants to worthy causes based in Cornwall.
To date well over £2,000 has already been raised both from a match day collection and through proceeds raised from auctioning the one off 'Pirate Trust' set of purple and yellow shirts worn by the Cornish Pirates when they played London Welsh.
One of the auctioned shirts went to excited youngster Callum Thornton, who wore it to bed the first night he got it.
The plan is for the shirt to be framed in the near future, but in the meantime Callum is going to give it plenty of wear!
There are presently just two of the exclusive shirts left, which will be auctioned off during Pirate FM's annual 'Radiothon' to be held on Friday 22nd May.
