Cornish Pirates

Cornish 'Pirate' Rhodri McAtee is expected to add to his already considerable number of Wales Sevens 'caps' in this week's IRB World Sevens Tournament opener being held in Dubai on the 28-29th November.

A total of 16 teams will compete in the 'Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens' event, with Wales placed in Pool 'A' alongside New Zealand, Australia and Zimbabwe.

The matches will be played at 'The Sevens' stadium, a venue located on the outskirts of Dubai which is to be the new home of rugby in the Middle East.

Next week the Sevens series will continue with a tournament in George (South Africa) on the 5-6th December, after which Rhodri is due to make his return to the Cornish Pirates fold.
