Cornish Pirates

Cornish Pirates squad member Paul Andrew, who is presently on loan to Mounts Bay, has been named as the Trelawny's Army Supporters Club's Cornwall U20s Player of the Year for 2007/08.

The presentation of the award, the 'Tony Mead Memorial Shield', was made by TASC President John Treglown at the TASC's Annual General Meeting held at the St. Austell Brewery Visitor Centre on Wednesday 1st October.

During the evening sports journalist Nigel Walrond also presented the TASC's Cornwall Senior Player of the Year for Season 2007/08 award, the 'Bill Osborne Memorial Shield' to Sam Hocking from the Cornish All Blacks.
