Irishman Brian is someone with power and pace, as witnessed on the wing in 2006-07 when he scored 17 tries in the league for Earth Titans.

He was the leading try-scorer for the Yorkshire club, his total putting him impressively third in National One's top try-scoring list.

Born in Limerick, his first rugby was played at the UL Bohemians club, aged 9, his development then nurtured at Crescent College Comprehensive from 1995-2001.

He played three seasons for the 1st. XV and captained them in his final year. It is a school that has also produced Irish international players the calibre of David Wallace, Paul Wallace, and Eoin Reddan.

Brian has played for Shannon - he was a try-scorer for them in 2005 against Belfast Harlequins at Lansdowne Road, a victory that captured the All-Ireland Division One title, and he has also played for Munster at legendary Thomond Park, alongside such outstanding world-class performers as Christian Cullen, Ronan O'Gara, Jerry Flannery, and Paul O'Connell..

He has also represented Ireland in the 2005 Rugby World Cup 7s played in Hong Kong.

From a sporting family, his brother plays for Shannon and his two sisters have represented Ireland in equestrian events.

Brian is a qualified 'chippy' who learnt his trade in the family carpentry business. His other interests include athletics and horse riding.

Joining us for the 2007-08 campaign, Brian was yet another player who was hampered by injuries. He scored seven tries in 19 appearances, including a first against Leicester Tigers on his debut.

A real crowd-pleaser, especially his effort from half-way when we played the Cornish All Blacks before Christmas - which was finished off with a spectacular mid-air dive!

The summer of 2008 was a busy one for Brian as he helped the Ireland 7s team in their bid to qualify for the 2009 Rugby World Cup 7s, before joining the Ireland A Churchill Cup squad.
