| CPR Learning Space - Presentation Evening | |
December 2008 At the end of this school term, over 110 people have packed into the CPR Learning Space at Camborne to celebrate the achievements of 60 pupils, all who had successfully completed a course headed by Cornish Pirates Learning Zone staff members John Watson and Mike Crump Accompanied by family members and friends, the pupils from Pool Business & Enterprise, Camborne, Roskear, Weeth, Pennoweth and Rosemellin Schools were presented with an achievement certificate and a pair of tickets for the Cornish Pirates versus Coventry pre-Christmas game.
The presentations were made by Cornish Pirates prop forward Peter Cook, who also happily signed autographs at the event. Centre teacher John Watson commented: "A huge well done is due all the pupils, as their enthusiasm, humour, commitment and drive, made the 10 weeks so enjoyable for our staff." |
