Leadership Award At The Cornish Pirates Learning Zone

For the past 10 weeks the CPLZ has had a number of year 10 students from Humphry Davy School attending a Leadership programme run by Learning Zone teacher Clare Moore.

In a mature manner, the students have been learning how to plan, run and evaluate their own sessions, and they have all shown a confidence in dealing with their peers and younger students.

Their enthusiasm throughout has also been admirable, and the CPLZ is really looking forward to passing each of them officially through the course later this term.

The course, which is part of the Sports Leaders UK Level 1 Award, is not concerned solely with the leaders sporting ability, as it is concentrated to develop many different leadership skills
