Community Champions
8th December 2009
Four local ladies recently received a top to toe makeover at ASDA Penryn, as part of a fashion showcase hosted by the store.

The big reveal took place when the ladies were presented with champagne and flowers by players Scott Franklin and Paul Devlin from the Cornish Pirates.
ASDA teamed up with the Packet Series to run a competition which searched for community champions who deserved some pampering.
Melissa Oliver, Hannah Collins, Maria Symons and Alicia Watts were all nominated by friends and relatives to take part in the festive fashion showcase and got the chance to transform their style with a whopping £100 each to spend in-store.
The four ladies were given all the style secrets they need for a fashionable winter wardrobe at the store on Jennings Road, courtesy of ASDA Penryn's team of expert 'George' colleagues.
A style advisor then dressed the ladies in must have party wear for the festive season.
Following this, the ladies enjoyed a pampering session with a hair stylist and make-up artist in preparation for the big reveal the ladies presented with champagne and flowers by players from the Cornish Pirates.
Steve Smith, ASDA Penryn General Store Manager commented: "I'm very excited about inviting the ladies into store to receive a fantastic makeover.
So many local ladies in Penryn deserve a day of pampering and I was delighted to give this special four a chance to kick back and relax!"
"We have a great George range available and I'd welcome any customers to come along and get some style advice for the festive season from our George team."
