Love Food Hate Waste
12th November 2009
The Pirates are delighted to be part of the nationwide Love Food Hate Waste campaign.
The campaign is aimed to encourage Britain to reconsider and address the horrible amount of food we throw in the bin each day – estimated to be well over 20% of what’s bought!
The Pirates endorse the south west’s campaign alongside Radio Devon presenter Judi Spiers, swimmer Sharon Davies and the Plymouth Raiders.

As part of our involvement we have included a reciepe from our own club chef, Maria Gracida. Maria’s fabulous burritos can be made with all sorts of leftovers and create a great meal served with her home made salsa.
For more information about her salsa and other recipe ideas go to ww.casamariastore.com
