The last Cornish Pirates 'Masterclass' of the summer is taking place at Truro this week, where 50 youngsters will be thrilled to receive coaching and guidance from the club's community coaches and players.
A parent whose son attended the Masterclass recently held at Wadebridge has commented:
“Thanks to everyone for a great Masterclass at Wadebridge.
The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are already looking forward to the planned October event at Lankelly-Fowey, as out of all the local Masterclasses on offer they enjoy the Pirates the most!”
Children attending the Camborne venue also had two special treats. Firstly, community coach Leon Pohe taught the children New Zealand's famous war dance, the 'haka', and then on the last day of their coaching they were given a guided tour around the 'Rec', viewing the changing rooms and also experiencing the thrill of running out of the tunnel and onto the pitch.
