Try Card Competition
10th Marchg 2010
Gifted Penwith youngster, Ben Morcomb, who attends Ludgvan Primary School, showed his artistic skills to design a 'Try Card' in a recent competition organised for students who attend the Cornish Pirates Learning Zone at Penzance and the CPR Learning Space at Camborne.
A total of 160 students took part and Ben's entry was declared the best.
His winning card had the word 'TRY' in large letters on a yellow cross, and the four quarters displayed examples of what makes Cornwall special - namely rugby, sailing, ice cream, and, of course, pasties!
Ben attended the recent Cornish Pirates versus Newport game, where his winning design was displayed on the day.
