Phil Westren's Preview

This Sunday's potential British & Irish Cup Pool 'A' decider between the Pirates and Newport offers the prospect of a fascinating encounter.
For the winner a place in a semi-final beckons, but if the teams draw, then Leinster would progress should they beat Gael Force next Wednesday.
The 'Black & Ambers' from Newport will cross the Severn in buoyant mood after beating Welsh Principality Premiership table toppers Swansea on Wednesday evening.
It was not just a win, but a thoroughly convincing 43-9 points victory at their famous Rodney Parade ground, where wing Mike Poole crossed for a hat-trick.
Sunday's game will be full-blooded and passionately fought, a Cornwall versus Wales cup match tie that truly whets the appetite and looks certain top attract a bumper crowd.
Highlight of the day will be the 'Giant Pasty Parade' just before kick-off
Led by by Paul Wickes with the Falmouth Marine Band, the giant pasty will be hoisted over the crossbar at the clubhouse end of the ground by the renowned Cornish trio of Graham Hill, Brian Chenoweth and Milly Edwards.
The whole day promises to be a special occasion, with Newport's President, David Watkins, a most welcome guest.
Dai had the distinction of captaining both the British Lions in two tests in 1966, and then later captaining the Great Britain rugby league team.
