It is nearly four years since the Cornish Pirates last played a senior match at the Mennaye Field, Penzance. Their opponents then, in April, 2006, were London Welsh, and it's 'The Welsh' who'll they'll face there again on Saturday.
A few members of the Cornish Pirates squad have experienced playing at the Mennaye Field, but most haven't, so it is something they are looking forward to.
One man who has played many games there, of course, is prop forward Alan Paver, who will lead the Pirates on the day against a strong London Welsh side.
The Pirates will be looking for revenge having been beaten 34-10 at Old Deer Park in October, plus they have a chance of taking over the third spot in the Championship which is presently held by London Welsh.

With good weather continuing an entertaining contest is expected, and there will be a warm welcome also to top international referee Waynes Barnes, who first officiated at the Mennaye Field back in September, 2000.
