Each year the Cornish Pirates are delighted to give the Bolingey Barbarians an opportunity to make a match day collection at one of their games.
This season's collection was made at the recent Cornish Pirates versus Rotherham Titans match, when the magnificent sum of £841-29 was raised thanks to the generosity of Cornwall's rugby supporters.
Bolingey Barbarians are a group of veteran players from Cornish clubs who, during the 17 years of the team's existence, have collected more than £60,000 for the less fortunate children of Cornwall, culminating last season with the magnificent sum of £10,000 presented to the Precious Lives Appeal.
Roger Mead is the very proud Chairman of all his fellow Barbarians who continue the true spirit of Barbarian rugby, and they are commended for their efforts.
