Cornish Pirates V Doncaster Knights
British & Irish Cup Cup Semi-Final
Sunday 25th April Kick-off 3pm
The Cornish Pirates are calling for rugby supporters about the Duchy to support them on Sunday in what is a mightily important semi-final tie in the British & Irish Cup competition against Doncaster.
If the Pirates can topple the 'Knights', then it is already known that in the final they would play the winners of the Munster versus Ulster semi at Camborne on Sunday 16 th May (ko 6pm). It's a wonderful prospect, but nothing can be taken for granted as Doncaster Knights will pose a difficult challenge – which is where crowd support can help.
It would fantastic to welcome Munster or Ulster to the Duchy next month, and there is little doubt that the chances for that to happen would be enhanced if a large crowd can cheer the Cornish Pirates on this weekend.
The inimitable Falmouth Marine Band have already promised their support, which is greatly appreciated, as everyone can look forward to an enthralling, exciting, and inevitably tense afternoon.
