A 'Day With The Pirates' Proves A Hit

At a Charity Auction Night in November at the Carbis Bay Hotel, lots' up for auction included ‘A Day with the Pirates', giving the opportunity to watch the Pirates train, meet the coaches and players, and have lunch with the squad.

This week's half-term was a suitable time for Roz Petersen and Jose Baker from Carbis Bay, to enjoy their day along with their respective sons Alfie and Thomas.

Thomas commented: “We had a brilliant time with the Pirates”, which was a view confirmed by mum Roz who took the opportunity to thank everyone involved for their hospitality.

The money raised from the Auction went to support 'Shelter Box' and an orphanage in Peru.

Mum Jose, as did Roz, also took part in some line-out practice!
