A match day collection held at the recent Cornish Pirates versus Newport game, and made by members of the Camborne-Redruth & District Lions Club, helped raise the sum of £434 for the Marshall Janson 'Handstand' Appeal.
Marshall lost his limbs due to a severe attack of meningitis when he was only 1 year old,
and through various fundraising ventures the hope is to raise enough money to help purchase prosthetic limbs for this brave young boy, who is now aged two.
The support of the Cornish Pirates was greatly appreciated by the Lions Club, with thanks express to supporters who gave so generously.
