STUART & JOY'S GENEROUS RESPONSE

On Friday the final Pirates Futures 1 st XV 'Dream Holiday' Draw of the season took place at a busy 'Westholme' clubhouse, Penzance.
The names of all Pirates Futures '1st. XV' members were entered in the draw which was made by club administrator Terry Drew, and the name of the winner on the ticket drawn from the drum was that of Stuart Michell.
Former player Stuart, and his wife Joy, are both stalwart supporters, and 'Stu' also provides tremendous input in relation to the creation and upkeep required to provide a good playing surface at the Recreation Ground, Camborne.
On Sunday at the 'Rec', after the announcement of Stuart and Joy's win had been made, Joy then responded to advise that because the couple have been to Hemingways Resort in the past, they only felt it fair to return the prize to give an opportunity for someone else to win the holiday of a lifetime.
The response was a generous one, and a suitable draw will now be organised accordingly.
