LADIES DAY PROVES POPULAR

'Ladies Day'
31st March 2010

When the Cornish Pirates played Plymouth Albion on the last Sunday in March, it proved an opportune time for the club to hold its second annual 'Ladies Day'.

LADIES DAY

The popular event started with the ladies enjoying a glass of pink sparkling 'Raspberry Aval', which is produced locally by Polgoon Vineyard, followed then by lunch where they were joined by Pirates players James Doherty, Tyrone Holmes, Shaun Pammenter, Richard Bright and Luke Collins.

It was apparent that the ladies present were extremely happy with the personal service their hosts provided, at an occasion clearly thoroughly enjoyed by all as is seen from the comments below:

“Excellent day, thanks to James for being such a host!! Can't wait for next year! x”

“What a fabulous day. Tyrone was lovely, I would invite him to dinner anytime!! Look forward to the next one!!”

“I would like to thank you very much for 'Ladies Day', everything was perfect from start to finish - the beautiful wine, gorgeous food and charming host 'Tyrone'. He was lovely, a real gentle giant. The whole party enjoyed the day - even Paul!!”

Of course the result that followed was the perfect end to the perfect Ladies Day....... when even the muddy players proved another hit with the ladies!
