PIRATES SUPPORT CANCER FUND

When the Pirates played Exeter Chiefs in the British & Irish Cup last Sunday, a half time collection for the 'Lauren Hoare & Rosie Howis Teenage & Young Adult Cancer Fund' raised £612 towards the very worthy cause.

Lauren and Rosie were two very special girls who died of cancer, and the charity is currently fundraising to build a unit in Cornwall which will provide both one-to-one care for teenagers and support for their families during treatment.

Rosie's dad Steve, and an uncle, Ben Quick, have played for Pirates teams in the past.
