Condolences are expressed from all Pirates to the family of Paul Bawden, aged 78, who has passed away after a short illness. .

Paul, who lived in Camborne, enjoyed a lifetime of rugby involvement as a player, an official, and as a rugby (and cricket) writer and radio reporter. For many years he also selected a 'Rucking Feasters' side that played St. Just on Feast Day, had an association with Trelawny's Army Supporters Club, and was involved with setting up the Cornwall Rugby Sages Society
