the seven schools in an area from Redruth to St. Just who are presently being
coached by the Cornish Pirates with reference to their involvement with the EDF
Energy National Schools Rugby Programme, Leedstown School is the latest to be

Rugby Programme they are involved in is one of the most comprehensive in world
rugby, benefiting nine to ten-year-old boys and girls at primary and middle schools
across England. The club's community coach Mike Crump and Cornish Pirates
players move from area to area about Cornwall, giving schools an hour of coaching
each week in six week blocks, culminating with a festival at a chosen venue.
