
Mike Crump
Community Development Officer
Mike joined us in June 2006 with a cv full of playing and coaching experience from a high level. Mike started his rugby career at Exeter Saracens and moved to Exeter Chiefs at 13.
He played all age groups at county level for Devon and joined the South West England Rugby Academy at Ivybridge Community College on its first year in 2002.
After completing college with a BTEC in Sports Studies, Mike played a few years up in London and then in the Midlands before joining Pirates.

Leon Phoe
Community Coach
Leon Pohe is a 34yr old Maori from Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, who in the past has played rugby league in Wellington. He has recently been appointed assistant community coach at the Cornish Pirates.
Besides his involvement with the Cornish Pirates, Leon is a sports development coach at St. Ives School, and he has also played rugby for his present hometown of Hayle.
