A partnership between the Cornish Pirates Learning Zone (CPLZ) and the Cornwall Sports Partnership is about to give the opportunity to create the leaders of tomorrow - today!

An induction day will be held at the CPLZ, 'Westholme',Alexandra Road, Penzance, on Thursday 16th July 12 - 2pm, which will give the opportunity to explore ways to unlock 'your' potential as a coach in any sport.

Benefits of the programme include:

• Free access to Sports Leader courses

• Interaction with coaches from professional sports

• Bursary funding to assist with the cost of national governing body UKCC coaching awards

• Support from the sports college/school sports partnership manager with advice/guidance on courses and in finding opportunities to shadow/observe qualified coaches working within the partnership

• Free invite to local briefing sessions where trainees will meet other trainees and receive further details of the programme, learning material and bursaries

• Interaction with players and coaches of the Cornish Pirates rugby team
