The
people of Cornwall have recently had the opportunity to become members of the
Gold Bond Weekly Draw in aid of the Cornish Pirates. Membership costs
as little as £1 per week, with there already a good number of members who
have won various amounts since the draw was introduced - and some on more than
one occasion! However, the real good news last week is that there has been a first
winner who has won the weekly jackpot of £2,000.
The
lucky recipient is Andrew Stacey from Newlyn, who pays his membership through
Woots News in Causewayhead, Penzance, where he also buys his weekly copy of 'Rugby
Times'. Trevor and Mandy Wootton, the newsagent proprietors, also have good reason
to be happy, for being the agency from where the winning weekly membership is
collected, entitles them also to a more than satisfactory sum of £200. Besides
the weekly Gold Bond prize for £2,000, there are also numerous other prizes
ranging from £5 to £500, and there also an Annual Jackpot Prize for
the magnificent sum of £10,000. Members receive a full list of winners after
each draw directly to their supplied email address, but as all winners are paid
automatically there is no need for them to worry if they don't manage to check
the winning numbers each week. Andrew, Trevor and Mandy will now be guests
of the Pirates when they play Bedford at Camborne this coming Sunday 8th March,
which is a day when the Cornish team will present their first St. Piran's Festival
in partnership with Coastline Housing. The gates open at 11am, and the game starts
at 3pm. Gold Bond Weekly Draw Details Promoter:
