 | One
of the Pirates stalwart volunteers, Safety Officer Dave Trembath, is also stepping
down from office, having for many years been conscientiously efficient in all
that he has done. London Welsh, similarly, will also miss
the services of one of their true stalwarts after Saturday, as former player and
administrator, 'marvellous' Morlais Evans, officially retires from his duties
as 1st XV manager. Well done Dave, and well done Morlais - you are both unsung
heroes! In mentioning volunteers, the various roles undertaken
by so many have been essential to enable the Pirates to progress, and the efforts
from all are always appreciated. Each year the same reliable faces fulfil various
essential duties, and a match day could simply not operate without such cherished
help. Thanks are also due to all club supporters, who will
soon look forward to 2008-09. Hey, don't worry, the weeks will fly by! |
