Cornish Pirates v Cardiff

The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce a second pre-season friendly to be played in August.

The Pirates will host Welsh Premiership champions Cardiff RFC at Camborne on Saturday August 15th (kick-off 5pm).

Founded in 1876 the Welsh side boast a fine pedigree and have played the Pirates a total of nineteen times since 1946.

The Blue & Blacks have won all but three of those fixtures but seasoned Pirates supporters will remember famous victories against them in 1950 (5-0), 1960 (11-3), and a gritty 3-3 draw in 1951.

The Cornish Pirates will also meet Premiership side Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday August 29th.
